Shifts: Days, Evenings, and Weekends, part-time positions available
Salary Range: starting at $17.00 hourly
About Us: Inman Pharmacy is an independently owned and operated pharmacy located in Cambridge, MA. We have been an important part of keeping the communities of Cambridge and Somerville healthy for over 80 years. We are a team of dedicated health professionals, whose goal is to provide our community with ways to stay healthy and improve their wellbeing. We accomplish this by offering a range of immunizations, providing services to improve medication adherence, recommending over-the-counter products and being engaged with these communities. Role and Responsibilities
Greets patients and customers warmly, engages with everyone in a compassionate, empathetic, and respectful manner
Assists Pharmacy Managers and other team members in developing and maintaining strong and productive relationships with local providers and other community health leaders
Responsible for operating the pharmacy the point of sale software
Completes sale transaction for patients/caregivers picking up prescriptions, as well as over-the-counter/front store sales
Maintains patient confidentiality
Follows all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations, as well as, all company policies and procedures
Assists with ordering front-store materials as requested
Re-stocks front store shelves
Re-stocks pharmacy stations with needed supplies (vials, bags, etc)
Assists with keeping the store clean and presentable (faces front store stock items, vacuums, wipes down surfaces, removes trash, etc)
Completes special assignments and other tasks assigned by management
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age, or supply required paperwork to work as a minor in Massachusetts
Must be of good moral character and not been convicted of a drug-related felony
Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
Ability to perform basic math skills to accurately run the point-of-sale
Preferred Skills
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Good computer skills (ability to type, use Microsoft products, and learn our point-of-sale computer operating system)
